GODLY PLAY

Grades K - 2 - Wilson Hall
This hands-on class helps students experience the stories of the Bible, then interact with carefully prepared figures and models to tell the stories themselves, making them their own. “Godly Play teaches children the art of using Christian language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives." The Godly Play teaching style is explained here.

LIVING THE GOOD NEWS

3rd - 5th Grade - Wilson Hall
Intermediate age students explore God’s world through lessons focused on the stories of the Bible as well as the feasts of the church year. Activities, discussion, and readings are all part of the learning and sharing experience. Written for The Episcopal Church, lessons support the church experience.

Children rejoin their parents immediately prior to Holy Communion.
